Opium Gazer
The Opium Gazer was one of the first lamps I ever started making. His feet are cast in bronze from a Coopers hawk and the opium poppy was grown in my mothers garden before being cast into bronze. The lamp is perpetually gazing up at something just out of reach. A dreamy dream, maybe. An idea. An object.
These designs are part of an ongoing collection and are stamped with an edition number and signed by me. Each handmade piece has individual and unique characteristics inherent to the materials and the maker
